Privacy Policy

If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture, used only to create and identify your account. You may also use the app as a guest, in which case we hold no name or email — only an anonymous identifier.

Every question you attempt is recorded: which question, which option you chose, whether it was correct, and how long it took. This is the data the whole product runs on — it is what produces your accuracy, your subject analysis and your position on the syllabus path.

XP, streak, hearts, credits, plan, mock test attempts and scores, and which days you studied.

When you first open the app we ask three optional questions: your province, whether you study alone or at a coaching centre, and when you plan to sit the exam. They are skippable, stored as broad categories rather than free text, and used to decide what to build next. A province is not an address.

If you allow notifications, your device registers a push token with us. It identifies the device, not you, and exists solely to deliver notifications. Turning notifications off in your system settings stops it being used.

If you join through somebody’s referral link we record that they referred you, so the reward can be credited. Your activity is not shared with them — they see a count, never who you are or what you scored.

App version and Android build number, so that a broken release can be identified and blocked.

Serving questions you have not seen, tracking your streak, awarding XP, unlocking camps on the syllabus path and placing you on the leaderboard.

Your own answers are weighted against how much of the real paper each subject occupies, which is how the analytics can say which subject to study next rather than only how you are doing overall.

Mock test scores are aggregated to show how an attempt compares with others who sat the same paper. A comparison is only ever shown once enough people have attempted it for the number to mean something; below that it is not shown at all rather than estimated.

Announcements about the app, and notifications about your own account — a plan activating, a reported question being fixed. We do not send marketing email.

Referral rewards are checked against real activity so that accounts created only to farm them do not qualify.

Your data is not sold, rented or shared with advertisers or data brokers. There is no advertising in the app.

Our database and authentication provider. It stores everything described above on our behalf.

Sign-in, if you choose to use it. We receive your name, email and picture; Google receives no information about your study activity.

Push notifications are delivered through Expo’s notification service, which receives your device token and the text of the notification in order to deliver it.

Your username, profile picture, XP, streak and plan badge appear on the public leaderboard. Your answers, scores and the subjects you struggle with are never visible to anybody else.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the safety of users.

Your profile, progress and answer history are kept for as long as the account does, because they are what the app shows you.

Messages you have read are removed after 30 days, and unread ones after 90. Announcements sent to everybody are removed 90 days after they are sent.

When an account is deleted, the profile, progress, answers, mock attempts, reports and the login itself are removed together. It is immediate and there is no backup copy to restore from — we cannot undo it, and neither can you.

Everything travels over HTTPS.

We never hold one. Sign-in is through Google, so your password stays with Google.

Row Level Security is enabled on the tables holding personal data, so one account cannot read another’s rows even if it tried.

A small number of administrators can see account-level information — plan, XP, streak, activity dates — in order to activate payments and handle support. Administrator actions that affect an account are recorded.

AayogX is built for candidates sitting Public Service Commission examinations and is intended for people aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anybody younger, and will delete it if we find we have.

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you and we will send it.

Your username and profile can be changed in the app. Write to us about anything else.

Use the account deletion page on this site, or write to us. Deletion is permanent and covers everything listed in section 4.

In your device settings, at any time. Nothing else about your account changes.

Write to aerox.studio.official@gmail.com. It is a real address that a person reads — there is no automated privacy desk, and pretending otherwise would only slow you down.

When this policy changes materially we will say so through an in-app announcement rather than quietly amending the page. The date above always reflects the last change.
