Assistant-level, and where most candidates begin.
General knowledge of Nepal, the constitution, basic mathematics and reasoning, office procedure and current affairs. The general-knowledge base overlaps heavily with Nayab Subba, so time spent here is rarely wasted.
Non-gazetted first class, a step above Kharidar.
The same broad subjects at greater depth, with more weight on the constitution, governance and written expression. Candidates commonly prepare for this alongside Kharidar rather than after it.
Gazetted third class — the officer-level entry point.
Governance, public administration, the constitution and law, economics and international affairs, with far more analytical writing than the assistant-level papers. Competition here is the heaviest of the four.
Nepal Police recruitment, with its own service-specific paper.
General knowledge and reasoning alongside police-specific material: the Police Act, criminal procedure, and the duties of the service. Physical and medical stages sit outside what any study app can prepare you for.
Loksewa deducts marks for wrong answers — twenty per cent of the question. A blank costs nothing. That single rule means filling in every bubble can score you lower than answering only what you know, and it is the reason our practice papers apply the deduction from the first question you ever sit.
